When you are presented with the Calendar Form, you are to select the Year, Month, and Day to be used as the "Current Date". It is presented in Calendar format. You may change the Year and Month via Combination Boxes by either typing in the input area (for the month) or selecting from a drop-down list (year). The day is selected by clicking on one of the calendar's day dates.
You can also use the "Prior" and "Next" buttons to move back or ahead by one week, month, or year. When you use these buttons, the configuration of days in the month may change. If the month you move to doesn't have the current day (e.g. 31st of the month), the highest day that that month has will be used (e.g. 28, 29, or 30).
If you don't use one of the Prior or Next buttons, the following rules will apply:
| Whenever you change the year, the configuration of the month's days changes and the date is dropped. You must click on a day to select it. | |
| Whenever you change the month, the day is dropped; you must click on a day to re-select it. |
The date you select will be used by the following applications to determine either the year, the month and the year, or the year-month-day combination for date-sensitive selections:
| A monthly report selects it's data from the year/month combination. | |
| An Annual report uses the year only. | |
| Offerings or checks use the entire date. |
